This paints some really nice imagery. I'm reading it with a kind of slow, steady voice. I guess like how a stream would sound on a summer day, a lazy one. Not sure if that's really what the rythm is supposed to be, but...
Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this!

Beautifully constructed, I don't see any way for this to be improved.
