I'm a little confused as to all that happened, but I kind of like that-it leaves it up to the reader. You were certainly able to convey a lot in a hundred and fifty words. Nice :)

It leaves you with a lot of questions not like big life questions but little character and situation questions. I would love to see this expanded so some of those questions could be answered.

The parts "uncombed hair" part and "disheveled outfit" made me giggle. The par "his startling green eyes" affected my heart. The part "As as sob escaped past her chapped lips, he grinned widely and passed her, as uncaring as eveyone else." Made me feel beyond sad. SERIOUSLY.
