Ah, geometry. The bane of my life. How I hate you, geometry.
I personally find proofs to be the most aggravating; in your words: "who in the hell needs this stuff?" Not like we'll ever be asked to prove why a tangent meets a circle's radius at 90 degrees, or like it'll ever matter whether of not we can find the proportion of the area of a triangle to the area of the trapezoid it makes up.
Damn you geometry.
And somehow this review ended up as a rant on the uselessness of math.

Yes, math is pointless to a certain extent. As long as you can add, subtract, multiply, divide, and apply that to your life you're set. Unless you want to be an architect, accountant, or CEO of a "math Is awesome" campaign you don't need to know rational expressions or any algebraic things.
