Very interesting and scary. This should be in horror. I think it's very good, and if you write more, then you could make it a book and get it published...it's certainly better than some of the stories that already ARE in print. It might need a LITTLE editing and polishing, but it's still excellent.

I am astounded. Amazed. Entranced. This is the beginning of a truly wonderful piece. The characters are so vivid, and their plight easily empithetical (easy to empathize with - I'm not sure if there is a word for that...) if completley foreign to our own experience. I always hoped that some of my favorite fanfiction authors would turn to doing original works - someone with your talent should not restrict themselves to other peoples characters (as fun as the challenge of that may be). Please, PLEASE, continue this project, and definitley do not let it languish in the back files of your computer. I look forward to reading more.

Very, very nice, as is all your writing. ^-^ You've got a really strong begining here, and good pacing too. Just enough detail for us to follow the story w/o boring us into a suicidal stuppor (sp?). That's a hard mean to hit for a lot of sci-fi writers (self included), and you've done it so naturally here, it looks easy. As always, you keep the reader's interest through out the narrative. I'm really jealous of your ability to keep your long stories & chapters rolling and fresh. (It's something I have a lot of trouble with, which I why I stick to short stories. ^.~) I hope you keep revising and posting more. This is really interesting stuff Krista. You weave a wonderful story :) I'm no judge of sci-fi/apocolyptic stuff...but this is an intriguing idea. As with EVERYTHING you write (particularly a certain little R 1/2 fic...^_-), please continue! ^_^ (and I'd certainly be one of those who would run out and nab whatever you write the instant you publish it :)
