dusty blue does have something to do w/ the poem... nostalgia reminds me of blue...and the emptiness reminds me of gray... mix it together...dusty blue. excellent poem, btw. )

Not only could I never shoot you, I think that the title DOES have something to do with the poem. Maybe I'm wrong, but you are associating the "dusty blue" with the coldness of this person. Cold is often associated with blue, and the more intense the coldness, the brighter the blue. So, maybe, you are saying that you don't believe he/she (the person refered to in the poem) is cold, yes, but has the POSSIBILITY of learning how to love, how to see the world from your point of view. I dunno, maybe I'm reading too much into it. I really, really, really enjoy your poetry man! It's so great... Well, I have to go eat lunch now, so I'll stop babbling... I'll be back!
