this is actually a review for keliana's hero but it wouldn't let me post again there...i was going to say, less optimistically than in my last review (show's how my character's developed, right) that alex almost never happens, and i was going to suggest you write one in which the parents find her silent but awake on the bathroom floor and start screaming and making her feel even more guilty for her existence. then an ambulance, hospitalization, feeding tubes, and a cast of blank-faced shrinks w/ notepads...

maybe a poem or something. but i bet it happens the sad way more than the happy way, c'est la vie.

I thought that this was great. I never truly believed that a true friendship would ever end and I'm glad that you added at the end that maybe one day the friendship would be reborn.
