However, I am not wholly convinced by Lucian's logic: millions of innocent lives do seem preferable to one innocent life; although, doubtless, in your novel, the world is miraculously saved by Lucian acting to save poor little innocent boy from himself.I loved the prose poem that you wove into the narrative. It was atmospheric and I felt it captured the heart of the character very well. |
