tubaboy81 (from the CRC) 2004-01-11 . chapter 1 This is really good. I'm tempted to try putting it to music, but I think it deserves a better composer. |
Silence-endlessecho 2003-06-06 . chapter 1I was looking back at my favorite's lists and going through the names and reading some stuff. You are on my fav. author list for this poem, but I realized that I never reviewed the poem. So, here I am. What can I say? It's beautiful and moving and majestic. :) |

Once in a blue moon 2002-11-07 . chapter 1"And let us laugh when things are bleak."
Wonderful poem. I hate poems that were writen on 9/11 and bash Bin Laden... they are just showing that we can be every bit as creul as he is. This was a touching poem. It really got me to think. |

QuizzicalSphinx 2001-11-25 . chapter 1As a NZ native going to college in the States, I was on my way to class on the morning. I got the news on the radio. I pulled my car to the edge of the road, chainsmoked three cigarettes which I never do, put my head on the steering wheel, and wept uncontrollably. I've never really felt this country was home for me, but on that day I felt the pain as keenly as if I'd lived here all my life. It was a terrific shock; until then I thought of the States as a place with a magic circle around it, where these sort of things never happened. Your poem touched me, reminding me that the darker the shadow, the stronger the light. |
GoldenSilence 2001-11-24 . chapter 1Wow..that was quite beautiful. You have a real knack for prose. |
