This is good, but in some lines seems just a little forced, not that I can talk. I like this though, for what it stands for. Kind of like, changing person wants someone to forgive them. I like that. Because there's a whole story that could be written from just this poem. I know that sounds weird, but it's true.

I like the story behind it. At least, well, my interp about it-it could mean something entirely different, in your mind. Regret over (violent) past actions, and ultimately suicide?
I also like the wording, how you made it poignant and rhyme at the same instant. Keep it up! =)
