Oh, what an interesting concept. I love the contradiction; "chin up, stand tall; pride isn't everything after all". Although I do think that you should make "pride isn't everything after all" a separate line. I love the idea that the people who walk with their heads down are proud in their stubborn shyness and modesty. What a beautiful thing. I love "the glimmering stars/making the glamours fade". The alliteration of the two different concepts provides sharp contrast. Wonderful.
