ugh no, i was SO in to this story, and you left me hanging! well, you likely won't get back to it any time soon, so i won't implore you to update. just know that you have some serious talent, especially if you were writing this mainly while still in high school. of course, the plot isn't incredibly original and i feel like the story's meant to be set in the 50s, but your actual construction is so evocative. i've rarely seen a first-person pov done so masterfully on fp before. the depths and layers of cindy's character are revealed so naturally and realistically, and she develops and changes at the perfect pace -- it's a fully immersive and convincing journey for the reader. you're probably graduating from college now, and i hope you're still pursuing writing. good luck with all.

i realise you probably will never write another chapter for this story again but i must say how wonderfully constucted this story is. It really has hit a note with me. It is rare i find such a beautifully written piece of work. maybe someday you'll finish this - it could be a masterpiece. I'll be waiting.
