Too true. I agree with you absolutely. It was a wonderful piece and really touched me.

Finally, I get around to reading some of the original fiction on this site...
I was reeled in by "Storm Tossed" and "Resolve"...

It's all true. We create because we can do nothing else. And if we never
see a penny/euro/kopeck/centavo for all our effort, it doesn't matter...

~_^ We each suffer our own brand of insanity. Our own Madness. It is the art of the passionate or the zealot, that we are able to get it down and are able to share it. We each wish to confront others with what is inside of ourselves, in hopes that it is inside someone else, and is understood. A great many people do not wright, for fear that they will be rejected. They fear that they are the only ones who think like they do, or that they are not worthy enough to be listened to. (or that they just have no skill, which in some cases is true) Then there are those that write for a while, and then give it up, as if thier passions have cooled after too hot of an affair.

And then there are writers like you, who continue to write (and ** at the writers block demons that we all have occasionally) and who do an excellent job of it. Continue on, my friend. Your work is not yet done...

Really thought provoking, and I love the muse. It's kind of strange to think of a cat for a muse but it's so weird that it's cool.

Now, personally, I can relate to this. Some have called me strange because of it, but my main reason for writing is because I love it. Plain and simple: I love it, and it has always been a part of my life. Even when everything else in a person's life falls away, there is always one thing that remains; for me, that will be writing (and music). I've been seen as idealistic, but if I can reach one person, make them see a different view of life for one moment...then I have done something worthwhile. Some people do that through music, others do it through art; I do it through my writing. *claps* I like it; it's very true.
