I think it was definitely worthy of posting here. To be honest, I identify more with the prey than the hunter, but even so it's an excellent evocation of what it would be to be such a predator.

I think that this is the single most beautiful way I've seen 'the hunt' [or 'the game' as you put it] described. Every word comes out gracefully, and I can imagine every movement in vivid detail. I love this!
