The twist for me was the fact that they weren't these straight up evil dudes trying against good and evil to bring about Apocalypse, End of Days, Gehenna, whatever, as movie and theatre had made of this into a cliche, but you've just set new boundaries for excellence in this genre. And by the way, love the way you used females instead of the embodiment of men! Women are the best things on the planet, and far better to imagine a sexy Apocalyptic chic rather than some sniggering bad arse dude! Keep up the good work!
