Stemwinder 5/4/02 . chapter 1This was definitly interesting. I've never seen line breaks quite like that before (I've tried to do somthing similiar in the past, and never quite accomplished it!) Actually, I stumbled across your page quite by accident, saw over 200 poems, and thought "NEver be able to read them all!" But, as a fellow New Jerseian (Born and raised, now transplanted in Florida) I thought, "well, let's see" and the title of this one just jumped at me. From what I've read so far, I can say you definitly have talent. Keep writing and posting, and I'll try to read more! Heather, AKA Stemwinder |
ShinigamiForever 4/26/02 . chapter 1The ending leaves you kind of wondering what the author was really going to say. The fragmented lines make for some kind of poetic insanity. Love it, as always. |
Mendelssohn 4/25/02 . chapter 1Superb work! I could never write something like this. I especially liked- "You how like Yeats I return to Comfortable Things But the Perception of Yeats Is quite Different from the Myriad ways..." The way you manipulated the broken lines was so clever that it belonged there. I'm looking forward to read even more when I have the time (no hope of finishing the other 175 soon :) ) . Truly great! Thanks for your support! Your compliments are too worthy for me. |
