Darn it... for some reason I can't see the story when it opens. All I'm getting are two lines: "All the Stars Die", and then "Where does the wind go?", along with a few wierd character things.

Has FictionPress done something wierd to the formatting or is it my computer? It looks like the rest of your reviewers could read it... Anyway, I thought I'd let you know, just in case it wasn't the computer. *Grumble*... and I wanted to read it, too.

M... I like this. There's a sense of magic in it.
He reminds me quite a bit of some people I know. Damnéd realists... I really can't think of much to critque here, only to bring to your attention that some of the phrases seem repetitious, and the more I think of it the more it seems intentional.
The theme isn't blatant, but it's soft and quite there. Your descriptions are lovely and you know who your characters are. I really do like this piece.

Wow...this is really good. You could use a bit more detail, but this is fine (I tend to use too much detail, unfortunately, so I'm wary about telling people to use detail). I read through your bio, too, and now I'm going to have to go find you at Elfwood sometime (I'm a writer there as well, under Jennifer E. Holland). It's a good site, but I like this one more, I think.
I'm going to eventually read Defeating Darkness, but right now I've got a lot going on and I don't have time to start yet another book, since I'm reading five right now, I think. Ok, that was a bit weird. I liked the setting, but I thought it ended a bit abruptly. Apart from that, it was a nice little story.

hmm... seems a bit dark... and depressing... and sad... but there is hope! to look at the stars is to dream of a future in which humans are among them, instead of bound and inseperable from one lonely, little planet. In the future the stars might be so far apart that their light cannot reach one another, but that is so many billions of years away that it does not apply to my life, to humanities existance... so this is the darkness with out the light and hope of the present and near future! i really like your style... very nice!

Exellent story! Just reading it makes me think that I have met you somewhere before...

Interesting idea that constancy is acheived when all good is gone. If that is true, then all the evil would be extinguished also, so in this story you might be able to add the idea that to have goodness (light/stars), we must also have evil.

I can't wait to read your other stories!

I really really like it! The only thing that I wish was that it would have a happy ending like he re-thinks what he is saying and realizes that there is hope amongest the stars no matter what science and math say. For the subjects are just mearly that, subjects not from the heart's of men of which keeps us alive.

I like muchly. The Pessimist and the Romantic at odds. The romantic seeming to win in the end. a great win story of nature and science :)
