I've lost my sock many times before, but never like this! What a predicament you were in here when you lost your little blue gym socks with the pictures of the violins on them. *sigh* Tell me if you ever find them. How terrible life can be when one loses his or her beloved sock. Socks are more than garments to go on the feet, or puppets to go on the hands. Socks are the breaths of life; the building blocks of our society. Just look at how many different kinds of socks there are - from ankle socks to dress socks, sweat socks to knee highs, and in my case, mismatched socks so that people stare at your feet, and hopefully [like Jordan's mom] comment on your interest selection of footwear. One does not appreciate the effect a sock has on their life until it is gone. 'Tis a sad thing, when a sock and its owner must part.

You don't have to approach him or anything. He is aware of you and you are aware of him, and that's all good enough...if you know what I mean. That's what makes it all the more special!!
