Lovely and unique. I like the simile, and the different attributes you givr to the raven, also the whole idea of the speaker mirroring the raven, it shows how much (s)he is fascinated by the bird. Nice job.

Luin - This is beautiful! I used to live in a town surrounded by high cliffs; the ravens would build their nests there. They’d drop out of those cliffs with their wings tight to their sides and then plummet to the earth. At the last moment, they’d spread their wings and swoop over my head. It was so awesome. Your poem brought it all back to me. Thank you for sharing this!!!
