woodstock1969 2008-02-11 ch 9,	abuseI love your story! I'm actually crying out of sheer joy right now because things finally worked out. I know that a story is truly amazing when the plight of the characters can extract such strong emotion from me...especially when I'm supposed to be writing an English paper, lol. I guess it sometimes takes a reminder of our own mortality to make us realize what's truly important and that we need to get past the stupid barriers to happiness that we put up. I mean, I've only had a brush with death once, and it was when I was ten and consequently had no idea what love was, but you know what I'm getting at. I think the reason that I connect with Lynn so much is that I once suffered through a three and a half year-long unrequited love...thing with my best guy friend. It wasn't pretty. I told him after a year and a half, but things just sort of dragged on, me living in my own daydreams and him giving me the "dating could ruin our friendship" line the few times that I reminded him of my feelings. We were young and stupid, and I look back on those days and want to give the girl I was then a good, hard smack. I must have been a masochist or something to let things go on as they did for that long. I still have so many regrets about that relationship and also some pent-up resentment, though I'm trying to squash that. It's been nearly four years since things ended between us (I went to a private high school while he went to the public one), and I've only seen him a few times since then, all completely by accident. The last time was about two weeks ago. I hadn't talked to him in over a year prior to that meeting, and very few words were exchanged, mostly because of my coldness towards him. I've been thinking about this a lot lately (it doesn't exactly help that I have to drive by his house every morning to get to school), and a part of me feels like I should somehow reconcile things. I just don't know anymore... Wow, sorry. I'm completely unloading my problems on you simply because your story reminded me of them. That was probably more about my life than you ever wanted to know. If you have any advice, I'd be glad to hear it, but feel free to completely scrap this as well. :-) Anyway, great story. ~ woodstock1969

I've long imagined when the girl gets into a death-like situation and the hero rescues her and realises his feelings for her...yeah im such a sap. Even though Josh didnt actually save her, it's close enough. I had thought corey was to be the third party but in the end he was just a new best friend, which is a good thing in a way because of less angst, and there was another way for Josh to reveal his feelings lol
Oooh.Look.A Cat 2008-02-05 ch 9,	abuse..ohkay that was weird because i just read the previous chapter and didn't even realise that this chapter was here ...oh wait no i get it now i had read the previous chapter to catch up on what i missed and then realised i never read that chapter so i read it, reviewed it (because obviously i had not read it) and then moved onto this on all the while being confused as to why i didnt realise this chapter was here anyways that was a long explanation that you probably didn't need. but i loved the chapter it's so cute and even cuter still was that my iTunes started playing Anyone Else But You near the end which i thought was cute and scarily coincidental i loved it and...is there going to be an epilogue? izzie
