Wow, great ending.

I didn't review for every chapter like a good girl, but I haven't got the time to read back over all the chapters (as the last time I read this story was over a month ago) and I've just started to get into leaving reviews...but you may have gotten that idea with all million reviews I've left for your other stories/poetry.

So, yeah.

I really liked this story, but as much as I liked this story, I LOVED the ending. It was very dark, kind of depressing, and that's my kind of ending. Don't get me wrong, I love happy endings as well, but this story seemed to flow much better with a sad ending, rather then having her overcome her illness all together. After all, why end the stream of bad luck she was having? Eh?

"I pray that even though everyone has moved on, that someone will remember me. I hope that something during their day sparks a memory of that girl who lived in the dark. I don’t want to be buried under a nameless grave."

*claps* I love that. Great, great ending. It really made me feel bad for Rylee. After all she went through, she had to die. But that's ok, because it was a good story! ^_^

Oh, it's a really sad ending. I superficially wanted her to get together with Kalkin and be cured and live happily ever after... oh well. I must say the way you worded it this way is beautiful. If I'd known her, even for an hour of my life, I wouldn't have forgotten.

um...interesting story. i think i really liked it a lot. but im not sure. its like the kind of thing where you were kept interested through the whole thing-but you have mixed feeling about it. you know what i mean? its good though. your a great writer with a great imagination and i look forward to reading your other stories! so keep writing :)

Although usually I dislike sad endings, this can be put in the exceptions. I truly believe the epilogue was beautiful. The words just struck me. Maybe because of my current mood but its powerful...the last sentences.

well...although the ending was a little depressing, it was appropriate...i mean, you cant end every story with a happy ending, so it was god!

Okay, I've read the first to chapters and they are for the most part good. One thing I would work on is the descriptions. I know it's a first person story and it may not be the characters habit to describe many things, but if she just went outside in the daylight for the first time I think it would be more believable if she goes in depth about her first daylight experiences.
Other than that and grammar, the story is solid. It kept me reading, and you ended the second chapter on a grabbing line. It implies but doesn't overtly state things to come.

I love this story! It's sad that Rylee had to go home, but if she didn't, she'd die. Her life has been hell. I honestly think that she's blocked herself off from her emotions and that's why she wasn't crying over Becca's death. I wish this wasn't ending. I enjoy reading it! Keep writing! I await the epilogue eagerly! ^_~

aw...she's returning...i knew she would but i didn't expect it to end like this. sad in a way...she's always going to be isolated...is this the last chapter besides the epilogue?

What do you mean that's your story? It's over? Oh my! As a reader I feel left hanging. Hopefully the epilogue might help... please update soon!

omg great chapter, this whole story was really good. the ending is so sad, too bad she has to go back to her old life. that must really sux. cant wait for the epilogue.

Oh my gosh! I don't believe it! What a life this girl has... now her sister's been murdered? Sheesh. Hope it gets better, but that's asking for a bit much, right? Well, anyways, hope you add more soon!
