I enjoyed reading this chapter. The reason why Kuro highballs was sad and surprising. I didn't see that coming. Kahane's end was appropriate with Elka beating him down. The fight scene with the end of the Hats was good. I like the idea of giving Willie/Malcolm new bodies. Keep up the good work and have a good day, :)

Weird Assignment's a cool character and the bomb sequence in this chapter was good. I was also surprised by how Kuro was fairly normal this time around. That was a nice surprise as well. Meir's an interesting villain. He kind of reminds me a bit of Vai. As far as Elka's personality, I'd make her kind of timid/insecure, but with a quiet dignity that draws The Fiddler to her. Of course, I wouldn't have Fiddler and Elka get together since he's still hung up on Rebecca. That's all I've got for now. Have a good day.

Finally got the time to actually send a review to you. I like what you're doing so far with the different factions. Weird Assignment is an interesting new character. As far as Kulia goes, I think you should keep her pretty hard-edged but with just enough of a soft side to be likable. Keep up the good work, :)
