Reviews For: A Song For You
aleppine 2003-09-12 . chapter 1
I have to say, firstly, that I greatly prefer the title 'Composition in Late December'. 'A Song For you' just doesn't carry the same dark quality.

This is possibly one of the greatest poems I've ever read and the singal greatest poem I've chanced upon on this site.

The use of punctuation is amazing here ... when handled with care, brackets can work miracles for a poem. I'm trying hard to isolate a line or two to favourite ...

'... and you tell me that childhood ends somewhere
It ends there, you point to the west.'

I am so impressed right now.

If you get the chance and are interested, I'd love it if you could read my fic, 'in shade and toxic silence'. I think I might like to hear what you think.

I am fascinated with this piece. It is very Jeff Buckley.

an amazing line.
Its a confessional, a secret held dear. The linear composition of it is so rare.
