Typical fatherly love...not that every father is like that...but quite frankly, I think this is more believable.

Either way, I do hope you plan to actually continue this since this small piece alone caught my attention. ^^; It's a good way to pull someone into a story...just the way you write in general. Granted, I've only read one story and this little bit here, but you seem to have twists in your stories. They are unique with an attractive, morbid flare.
