set against the shadow of the

church, and I feel as if I

could never hate math if only

it turned out every time like

'one-oh-eight' and then the

world would be always correct

in its constant birthing.

Wonderful poem! :) But it's also kind of sad. I too sometimes wonder why we spend precious time piddling over details when there's a whole world out there.

I've also had many dreams like this, with the prosaic and the profound rubbing elbows together.

You used a lot of shadow imagery in this piece and I liked it... it helped add to the overall effect of your poem! Great work!
