I've noticed all of your stories; they pretty much, at least for a few of the short ones, portrait the same person. The same "butch".

I love it. It feels confused and broken, and I love the entire feel of the piece. It stands well on its own; I didn't need to read the prequel to get a feel for it, and that's a good thing. A few grammatical errors, but nothing major. Good job.
