Well, I don't like to get into talking about things that have to do with war. Things usually don't turn out pretty. But this was an interesting poem.

i would say that i thought tv showed a lot of stuff on the war, but this is dated in aug last year! so actually, it WAS true, but not so much now...
still great... kinda creapy though. u sure u can't tell the future?

Another very well written poem. Raising awareness about the horrors of war is the first step to ending it. Too much blood has been spilt; push for peace, and end this vicious cycle of violence, before it consumes us all. "No more wars, no more bloodshed. Peace unto you. Shalom, salaam, forever." ~ Menachem Begin (One of my favorite quotes ^_^)

I agree that things have gone a bit overboard, but things like this have been happening for centuries now. I have come to hate discussing politics though because my friends and I disagree so terribly sometimes that we won't speak to each other for hours at a time. However, I would like to tell you of something we did in my Mass Communications class this past week. (Mass Comm is like intro to journalism, in a way.) We watched a video with gorey pics and people dying and such, all about the brave photographers who go over to "conflict zones" to take pictures of it and bring it back for the public to see, and so that they can spread the story of innocents dying etc. So you see, it isn't always so sheltered here. I would probably have nightmares, if I had dream recall, but as I don't, I got off lucky. It is a very touching poem though; good job! You should always express what you feel, especially through poetry. I salute you!
