Insane 2003-09-21 . chapter 1 This poem is so sad...I remember on 9/11, I was in 2nd grade, and I remember just waiting, not knowing what was going on, it felt really weird...I think I'm seriously gonna cry over all the poems I've read so far of yours, they're so..I don't know how to explain it, but they're really good. (Expect another review from me soon :D) |
Soviet 2003-08-22 . chapter 1This poem is amazing, good job, the only thing is taht the event was so sad... I lived in NY for about 3 years... and the days after 9 11 my family spent trying to contact old friends |

your poem is very good. it gives a good feel of just how you felt when you found out about it. |
arwens-light 2002-11-29 . chapter 1wow, that was really touching... september 11 changed everyone's life whether we like to admit it or not, and i really did enjoy your poem about it. |
Crimson-Tears 2002-11-27 . chapter 1That does bring back memories... and by the way thank you very much for the review! Appreciated it tons. Anywho... ah lets see... I was just sitting down in chorus class, however I was confused half the day. All people really knew was that something had happened, but their facts were simply rumors. What I heard was that we got bombed. Later on I found out what actually happened but it didn't really hit me until two months later. *Shakes head* Terrible, terrible thing... it's funny though how 9/11 is the only day where numbers will tell you what happened. Christmas, Independence day, any other important day... if you only gave their digits would make people ponder for a little bit. But not 9/11. Your poem portrayed the event wonderfully. Just a normal day in history class, as many kids had it. I like the end. Everybody getting together and growing stronger at heart. It was nicely shown... just as it happened all around America. Hmm... I always try to add a bit of where you can improve and I'm not really sure right now. I did get a bit confused here though. "Everything seemed to stop when we watched wide eyed." I don't know quite what it is that everyone was watching. The TV? As for the rest I can't find anything. So good job! |
Starrby 2002-09-22 . chapter 1Indeed, I do remember. I found out in homeroom. We had an assembly that day. It didn't really set in until after school, of course... When it was plastered on the news.
I wrote a poem as well. It took me a while to finish-- some time between that day and the day after. If you haven't already, it's posted here. It's called 'Fall'. I understand how you felt by reading your poem. Thank you. It was truly lovely.

Whiro 2002-09-12 . chapter 1I remember so clearly about that day, sitting in European History, my teacher wrote on the black board the date, and he put the 10th on accident first and then put the right date and said remember this date. I remember all we did that day was watch tv, altho in some classes we still did work, but we mostly stared at the tv in the classes. I wrote my own poem about it, I posted it today and wrote it earlier this week, go check it out. This poem stirred many memories, it was good. I do remember.
