Hey really cute story. I love cats. My cat died a couple of weeks ago from diabetes (he was 16 so he had had a long life), but he was really funny about eating also. We would mix the vet reccomended food he liked with the stuff he liked, but he would not eat a single piece of the food he was supposed to eat it was really cute. E also would be allowed the 6th chair at our dinner table (as long as he didn't climb up onto the table) And great manners, sort of opposite of your cat. if he was hungary or wanted to eat something you had he would just lick his lips.
