my slight dissapointment at lack of beaten-about-whiny-boy is more than fulfilled by the fact that his character is still going strong (and great) and that there are vampires.

Okay, I know this story is deserted--hasn't been updated in what, three years?--but I just felt the urge to let you know that I really enjoyed reading it--great plotline, perfect romance, and a healthy dose of humor, just how I like them. Nice work on what you did write!

Okay, I know you have a revamped version of this story and others that you are working on but please finish it!

Whoa. There is intrigue in here for sure, rearing its head once or twice from the blend of humor, action, and yummy fluff. Somehow, I don't think this is complete, but I noticed you had a "revamped" version up, so maybe you're thinking of starting over entirely. I don't personally think this version is in any way bad, but we tend to be our own worst critics of course. At the least, I am relieved there is something of yours I can move on to. (I'm a shameless leech, I'm afraid)

Mostly, I am impressed at the flawless present tense. It's hard to write in (for most people I know, myself included) and even harder to maintain, yet I haven't caught many errors in all these chapters.

Aside from that, what else am I to say? I can confess: I may have fallen in love with your writing, and that's not even getting into your characters. You are very suited to the style of fairy tales, although "Taking These Chances" was much different and really stood out on its own.

Looking at the title now, after having read through Samuel and Merrin's daring, head-turning, and rather silly adventures, it was very well chosen.

Haha. Well, one thing's for sure, I think. You have some fun ideas in your head.

(I like fluff. ^^;; It's a terrible thing to admit to, is it not? But it's just so cyute!)
