From the stroies my grandfather told me, what you've decribed in that was pretty much accurate. Though, you left out the sheet terror that was gained from seeing a night raid by german troops with flame throwers. You've gotta love man kind's arm's race. Oh well. Very cool, if not disturbingly vivid writnig here. |
