really descriptive. I can picture the tigeress attacking the deer and dragging it back to her family. I do think there is a better word then thud for the tigeress coming down upon the deer.

It's a powerful piece and I love the subject matter; it's a unique choice. The only thing that bothered me was the intent on rhyming that faltered the rhythym in a few places. It would be a much stronger piece without the constant rhyme, but I love it just the same. The rhyme's a matter of opinion, really - I don't do it because I can't get away with it. It fits well enough here, and doesn't take too much away from the whole poem. All in all, I like it.
