I think I've got three muses, all OC- Darkrain, the one who keeps me on task and is the cynical and realistic one, but can also generate humor (or criticize it...); Talia, the more easy-going and humorous one that gives me general ideas, and keeps me sane when I'm close to deadline; and Shirracco, defenitely the one who pushes me to have the most fun with my story and just try things to see how they work out. But Darkrain's still head honcho...tee hee...he can communicate telepathically, sleep on my futon while I'm gone from the house, and still have an outline ready at the end of the day...

Brock (for humor, Pokemon, unofficial, who else can make me shake my head and say, "Poor you. You can never catch a girl")
Cordelia (for angst, Angel and BtVS, unofficial, her death made me cry buckets of tears)
My OC, Dianne (for anything, mine, unofficial, she's Ash's gal)
Danny (for romance, Danny Phantom, unofficial, he's best friends with the girl he likes and they become GF/BF)
Kim (for serious, Kim Possible, unofficial, she's usually concentrated on things)

They're all unofficial.
Dianne: Wait. Why didn't you get Ash? You're comfortable with him.
You like him, girl.
Beth: She is SO right. Oh, see me over at Haunted soon as the Crazies debut!

He's a . . .samll elephant, of the grey variety, and he's from Astralis. He likes it here because the sweaters are nice. Don't ask why. He's been very cynical lately, but he's usually quite nice.

Yeah, my muses are both official and quite original. I've had Darian for about two and a half years now. He can't read my mind normally, just reads my journals, but we fuse during my writing period. My most recent Muse, Akira, is very short so she can fly around. She can read my mind more easily, but at least she can be trusted as she has a more... herm.. noble way of doing things.
