History is a cycle as I have noticed in my studies. No matter how small or how big the event, history repeats. Whether people try to learn or not, they will always make mistakes, causing history to repeat. In Srev’s diary, I found that this world and the other world where the demons dwell were once merged, and after a huge conflict, the worlds were separated to protect the inhabitants from each other while certain denizens became trapped on the wrong side of the world and adjusted. Richard was a descendant of those in the demon plane left in the human side. In both worlds, the denizens evolved and developed differently. This world then became even more segregated from the Mordites’s actions. Magic users became discriminated, and they went to the isolated haven founded by Lady Morrigan. In contrast to the first segregation, some of the magic users chose to live with the nonmagic users while hiding their abilities in order to stay alive. Others such as the Mordites wanted to induce chaos to take control of the situation. Srev noted in his diary that when the worlds were ready, they would be merged once again, and when major conflicts broke out, the worlds would be torn apart into separate realms once again. Eventually, I believe that the world will become so segregated that someone will stand up for unification. It is a very hard path as society evolves or rather, to some point, degrades. Moral obligations and etiquette have already begun to disappear. The unification will take longer and will be a much harder road, but if this is the path that this world takes, one day, the worlds will be merged again, and true peace will last for some time. Sadly, I do not think that I will live to see this day though I long to see it as Srev did. – Thomas
