Stained and scorned
All alone, silent
I mourn

Dragged and beaten
Torn apart
Deep inside
Pain in my heart

Hated and scarred
Shattered and battered
The beauty marred
The light destroyed

Over and over
They tear me down
Crushing me to build their crown
All alone I stand and fight
Trying to stand for what is right
