A Mother's Gift

A mother's hands. A mother's gift,

The best of all. As you see,

Always to hold, Is just as important

Never to fall. As you or me.

A mother's heart,

So tender and true.

Knowing always,

That she will love you.

A mother's smile,

Understanding and sweet.

Comforts and helps,

Lifts you off your feet.

A mother's eyes,

So loving and calm.

Saftness rests

In both of her palms.

A mother's kiss,

To sooth and caress.

Will heal any wound

To its very best.

"Kind and Gentle!"

She says to us.

Not to fight,

Not to fuss.
