Poem dedicated to my granddad, Uncle Chris and great Uncle Tom! There's a whole explanation for this on my Online Diary. But I wont go into it.

Staring at the water

It's brown and murky depth

Thoughts are running through my head

Of how I should have wept.

The people now gone from my life

Although they're sorely missed

Seem closer than they did before

I guess it is a gift

I look at photos and try to remember

How it used to be

When they were here alive and well

And how they treated me

I hope that now wherever they are

They've found a peaceful place to rest

For now I must get by without them

And I'll do my very best.

I thought it was all a bit too serious for me I wrote this too:

I see the little fishies

Swimming in the creek

And think the water must be cold

It's sludgy-ness does reek.

Starpants ~Feeling nostalgic and too serious for her fluffy little socks~
