Vampires Of Talisi: Part 3

Author's Note: This is a true story, I repeat, TRUE STORY! This really happened to three of my friends and I! (Of course, all the dialogues aren't just right!) Anyway, some of the names are changed for safety reasons!

Day 5:

Nothing much happened on the fifth day either, but Andrea made something clear that suggested a terrible revelation! ^_^

"You know what I think?"

"What?"

"I think they're both going to like call us backstage on play night and bite our neck or something!"

"Wow! Never thought of that!"

Today was Friday, the day before the play.

At practice that day, another friend of mine showed up who hadn't auditioned or anything, but just showed up to help. Her name was Lindsey Ray. "Hey!" she said smiling at us.

She helped us with the finishing touches on the props.

Oh yeah, and it turned out our mystery girl was just a cheerleading outfit on a mannequin with pom-poms on the head!

Day 6:

We arrived around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday to go to dress rehearsal. Of course, we had nothing to dress into, so we resumed our spots, me at the spotlight, Taylor and the sound, and Andrea helping the kids backstage.

Rehearsal went well, except for when I purposely shined the spotlight right at Little Red Riding Hood! Hehehehe.

Lindsey showed up later, on towards play time.

It was about an hour until, and I stood in the bathroom, making sure the young boys weren't doing anything dressing back into their costumes. Then we applied makeup.

Within about ten minutes of starting time, I was quietly standing by the spotlight in the balcony, ready to do my best. Lindsey rushed up to me and said, to my horror, "Chad wants you backstage!"

My heart sank. "What?" I asked.

"Chad wants you backstage!"

"Did he say what for?" I asked hesitantly.

"Nope, just wants ya'll."

My heart leapt at the word 'Ya'll'! Maybe that meant more than just me, or maybe Andrea and Taylor! I slowly made my way towards the back, hoping that Andrea's revelation wouldn't come true.

I got to the backstage door and walked in. My stomach turned. All I could see was Chad, Andrea, Taylor, and Diana.

Maybe they had already gotten them!!! I slowly ascended the steps. I came closer, closer, and closer.

Then my heart leapt when I saw.......................................................................

It was the whole cast! I was saved!

I felt better the rest of the night, knowing that I wasn't going to get bitten or anything.

The play went well, and even someone commented on how well I worked the spotlight!

Afterward: Still today Andrea and I joke about it, but we'll never know, "Where they the real Vampires of Talisi?"
