Silence
by blueangel a.k.a. tn

The ticking of seconds come and go
And through the day I often wonder
Will my Baby ever know?
She looks upon me with tears in her eyes
As I feel the suffering of her cries
In class or our groups we aren't talking
Not even when alone together when we are walking
Constantly friends ask me about her
And my voice is caged as a bird
From me, silence is heard
Were the things he offered
Worth more than a pure hearted touch
Love burns between us for all to see
And only when together can it be free
Now I wonder if she can even see
What our silent love is doing to me
On one blessed day we'll shout out loud
Where silence is no longer heard
Through these chilled filled halls we glance
Loving another through silence.
