"di-di. di-di."

The pair of bright blue eyes with speckles of green glanced at the mobile phone. He picked up the phone, while keeping his eyes on the road. Stopping at the traffic light, and pulling his car to a stop, the pair of eyes went back to the phone.

"1 message received"

"Read"

"Sender: Jade"

The pair of eyes brightened up. Glancing at the traffic light to ensure it was still red, the eyes looked excitedly at the message.

"Hey! Guess what? i just met the cutest and nicest guy! He asked me out today! sorry i can't go home with you. I'll make up to you, i promise. Wish me luck :) "

The bright blue eyes closed. When they were open again, they were lifeless. So different from the pair of eyes that was once so lively before. Before he read the message. Oh, why had he bothered to care so much? Wasn't he used to it already? Every week, he was sure to receive at least 1 message from Jade, proclaiming how she met this guy and that. He...

"Honk! Honk!"

The pair of dull eyes looked up. Seeing that the light had turned green, he stepped on the accelerater and drove home. Thoughts ran through his head until his head hurt.

"Moonlight View" the sign read.

The car made a sharp turn and turned into the road leading to Moonlight View. The cars behind honked loudly. As if he gave a damn about them.

Moonlight View was just a mountain top where you could stand and see the whole town. It was beautiful at night as the moon would shine upon a certain area of the mountain top, hence its name. However, this mountain top was always deserted. No one ever went to the mountain top anymore now that there were malls, fast food places, and parks. Who would want to go to a mountain top that have seen much better days when such modern places exist? Well, no one but him.

Moonlight View was his favorite hide-out. No one was ever there to disturb him. He was always left in peace. When he was feeling troubled, he would drive to the top, park his car and sit at the edge of the mountain. It was dangerous, no doubt, but he did not care. What’s danger compared to his troubles? Especially since these the cause of these troubles was what kept him going in life. Without it, he was just a body without soul. 

Today, yet again, he was back. He was not only troubled but sad and depressed too. He felt as if his life had been ripped out of him once again. For the millionth time, he was up here. And always, it was the same thoughts racing through his mind as he sat down. Jade.

Flawless Jade.

He covered his face with his hands. Once again, he was at a lost. He pulled down his hands and stared down at the town, the people looked like ants, hurrying around. Just like his thoughts. Numerous thoughts clouding up his mind.

He cried.

Note: That’s it for chapter 1. Didn’t wanna write much in case people think the starting already sucked… hope some enjoyed it anyway. Looking forward to continuing it… that is if no one slams this fic too badly… Ciao!
