A Slashy Bedtime Prayer by H.J. Bender

Now I lay me into bed
With slashy thoughts all in my head
And should I die while in the sack
I pray that God will send me back
'Cause I don't want to die, dear Lord
With so much slash still unexplored
And ridiculed by canon fans
Who never seem to understand
That true love lies between two souls
Without the rules that gender holds.
Love is blind and love rules all
So if by chance my soul you call
Please let me stay on Earth for now
...Cause I'm no angel anyhow.
