" They've been gone a while." Meg said into the lengthening silence. " Maybe we shouldn't send anyone else." Meg didn't want to disappear like the others.

" You don't have to worry Meg."

" If you guys won't, I have to."

" Meaghan, we're all worried." Luke tried to calm the girl down.

" Well, if that's the way you want to be, I'll go find them." She grabbed a flashlight and huffed out of the door.

" Meg! Wait! We'll be back." Luke grabbed another light and slammed the door behind him. They heard his footsteps pound away down the hall.

" We're going to do a searching spell. See if we can't pinpoint who or what's doing this." They motioned to the windows.

" We'll be quiet."

" Thanks."

" Meg, you don't have to prove anything." Luke latched onto her arm just in front of the stairs to the basement.

" Yes I do. You all think I'm just an immature, scared, little baby that you have to take care of every single second."

" No we don't. We're all scared. Ally hides it by taking care of the rest of us, Shawn through jokes and keeping the mood lighter than it has a right to be. Jamie and Matt hide their fear by trying to find out what's causing this and I just hide." They walked down the flight of stairs and then another flight of stairs to get to the boiler rooms.

" I'm going in here." Meaghan motioned towards the left room after shining her light briefly down the condensed hallway. Meg walked all around the room, seeing about half of the boxes and desks that the last two groups had seen. In a back corner near a window, she got stuck.

When she tried to turn around and go back out of the room she could move more than a few steps. Luke came back in the room.

" Luke help me, I'm stuck." Meg was trying to keep the desperation out of her voice.

" Dammit Meg where are you?"

" I'm right here. Luke I'm right in front of you." Luke had walked into the back corner and turned around. He passed right through Meg's body.

" I should have known you'd go back to the room without me." He never stepped more than two feet into the boiler room when he started back to the others.

Shawn and Ally were talking when the twins settled themselves down in the opposite corner.

" Maybe it's the janitor. I heard they were firing him next week." Shawn suggested.

" How do you explain the snow? It'd be a good idea if there weren't a blizzard locking us in. He always was a little creepy."

" I know. There are a couple of kids who've actually thrown up when he walks by."

" I've felt like it. He smells like wax, ammonia, and alcohol. Not a good combination." Ally paused when a bright whitish blue light suddenly rose around Jamie and Matt protecting them from anything trying to hurt them in this world or the next.

Luke walked to the top of the stairs and exited the door, very tiredly. When his eyes scanned over the lockers, his mind registered a pair of bright green eyes staring at him through the vents. Luke just shook his head and started walking.
