Outcast.

She sits alone every day-

Watching you.

And you can feel her eyes on you.

She sits and waits

For the day when all the pain

Will disappear.

And her eyes ask the question,

"Will you help me fight the pain?"

But hardly anyone ever sees her at all.

All her beauty has left her

And now all she is

Is an empty shell.

But you can't see that.

She wishes you would, so that maybe

You could save her from everything in her life.

So she follows you, and watches you,

Hoping you'd see her, and her pain.

But you walk right past,

Not understanding the agony she goes through every day-

Just to survive.

And the next time you pass her body, it's cold, and

Lifeless.

As pale as the fate God chose for her.

She's smiling in her casket.

She's waited for this day all her life.

She knew you did your best.

But her eyes will haunt you

Until you see them again.

For, in your heart,

You knew you had failed

The one you were meant to love.
