Invisible Girl

~ Invisible girl, to them they know

Only what the eye can see.

But if they saw the pain she hides

Maybe their blindness would not be.

~ But what they can't see is that she's lost,

And has given up hope of life.

And all she wants are a couple of pills

Or her dad's old army knife.

~ For she stands there and they laugh at her,

And the fact is they don't really care.

But they really can't see the pain inside

That comes out with her stare.

~ And the pain builds from day to day

As she's tortured, and harassed.

And she thinks of all the wicked things

They've done to her in the past.

~ She can't hold back the angry voice

That's stuck inside her head.

That tells her to just end it all

And have the last word said.

~ And the pain turns into anger as she's

Stuck in endless Hell.

And the voice appeals to the girl

Who takes it all so well.

~ And in the end, she finally cracks,

And takes her mothers gun

And tries to shoot out all the pain

But instead the pain, it won.
