Just because I stray,
Does not mean that I am lacking,
I am looking for my identity,
I am trying to let people see,
The real me,
The one that they don't know
Me, Myself, and I
I am me,
Nobody else,
And nobody else is me,
I can change the way I act and I can change the way I look,
But I can not change the person,
I was born to be,
For I am me,
Nobody else,
And nobody else is me
The Hurricane and Me
I am a hurricane,
Though it may not seem,
My mind is a hurricane,
A hurricane of thoughts,
Thoughts rush through my head,
Like debris driven by furious winds,
My thoughts stop for a bit,
Like the eye of the storm,
It comes bringing peace and calm,
But like the eye,
That peaceful time passes,
And the wind picks up,
As do my thoughts,
And when my thoughts are violent and full of rage,
I, as others, get upset and throw tantrums,
And people say to me when I've calmed,
"You are a hurricane,"
And as they leave,
I sit and ponder their words,
And the eye of the storm passes once more
