Cold wind chilling her pale face,
hair blowing in the wind.
The silence of a lost love
a echo in her head.
Tears fall down such a fair face,
healing nothing, causing more sorrow.
A whisper escapes her delicate lips.
"Will my knight in shining armor ever find me?
Will he take me away from here?
Will he set me on his horse,
and hold me ever near?"
Body trembling, she cries.
The hollow in her heart
a burden ever more.
"Rest your sweet kisses on my neck,
Your gentle pressure on my lips.
Keep me close to you forever.
Never wander away from here."
Finally her body caves
No power she has anymore.
She strains for breath admist the sobs
and decides that she can not live anymore.
"There is only one I love.
Only one I can confide with.
Be he not here, nor will I.
I have decided."
Her end she then decided.
Cold body lying on the floor.
Next to the one she loved,
her hair still blowing in the wind.
But her heart whole once more.
