I was wrong, and I finally understand
My feelings had overshadowed my mind
I will no longer search for your hand
I know it won't be there for me to find

At first I knew that I really did not know
But soon I convinced myself otherwise
My heart was sure that it was all a show
But I am the fool surrounded by lies

I am not crushed. Disappointed maybe
I am glad that you two found each other
It's a nice change from what I have felt lately
I am ready to turn and find another

Finally I have one more thing to say
I know we will all be better this way
