Your cries of sorrow remain all too real
Though the calming of this earth is all around
The pain of all your worries I do feel
They burden me, bind my feet to the ground
And I wish I could free you from your tears
But you seal yourself away in all your hurt
You turn your face away and plug your ears
Instead, dismiss yourself from me so curt
You wear a mask to hide pain in your eyes
And take it off when you think we don't care
But you don't hear our sad, sorrowful sighs
You don't know all the pain that we share
You hide, change into your dragon, and flee
But I would rather you stay here with me
