10/31/02- Well, I wrote this for my geometry class (strange, huh? ^_^),
but it is about a pumpkin, and it's Halloween, so I figured I'd post
it. It's a nice, short poem, and I haven't uploaded anything in a
while *sweat drops*, so here ya go. No, it doesn't have a title
because I don't feel like thinking of one just now... you can deal
with that, though, I'm sure. ^_^ Well, I'll quit talking now... enjoy!
Perhaps you'll give me a review in return?

~Scratch ^..^

Carving pumpkins is always great fun
So during the evening a child carved one.
The child pictured a beautiful cat
and decided to carve just that.

On the orange surface he cut out a cat's face
And it was then that an extraordinary event took place.
The cat on his pumpkin became real
And how would that make you feel?

The child loved his new pet
They were as close as friends could get.
They were together all the time
They loved to play, run, and climb.

This cat was the child's best friend
You can create anything when you pretend.
