Another poem I did in Math Class. It's a wonder I'm even close to passing in that class, considering I'm not paying
attention half the time. ^^ I'll probably be doing another poem like this soon about ice in the veins. I personally
think the two concepts are a little different.

In Your Chest

Do you ever get that feeling?
Deep in your chest
a short of numbing sensation
like you just swallowed ice cream to fast
and it got caught in your chest?

It feels like that that
kind of.

Only my chest
(or is it where my hear rests?)
is so numb it hurts.

Sometimes I feel a deep sadness but then
all of a sudden my chest seizes up
and I feel so cold.

Maybe that's why I'ms always shivering
Why I seek out warmth
that is never offered.

So
Do you ever get that feeling?
Like your whole world is cold
and all you feel is the ice embedded in you chest?
