What is the wondrous wind?

Invisible in its power,

Strong enough to spin houses into the air,

And yet gentle enough to sway a single flower.

What the invisible wind could be,

Is the breath of a thousand trees,

Giving away all of their love and life,

And settling it on the breeze.

What the invisible wind could be,

Is the hand of an ancient deity,

Blowing on for eons over mountain and hill,

And wishing still to smite thee.

What the invisible winds could be,

Are thousands of angels swooping down from upon high,

Checking how things are down on earth,

And trying to lift things back with them into the sky.

But what the wondrous wind would be,

If what I have beheld with my own ears is true,

It is a song sung by everything all over the world,

Come to enlighten you.
